6/29/2023: Phone Ransom and Classic Amsterdam

We woke up this morning to a text regarding the phone ransom (refer to 6/27/2023 Amsterdam and the Crazy Taxi Driver). Long story short, we gave the dude the 50 Euros and never looked back. What a freaking relief.

On that happy note, we headed out on our bikes to continue the Amsterdam adventure. We took a boat ride on one of the many canals, went to an Amsterdam coffee shop and indulged in THEE best lattes (yes, we had multiple back-to-back) I’ve ever had, all while enjoying some good conversations and a locally sourced Amsterdam joint.

I think it’s safe to say that we easily could get used to the Amsterdam way of life.
