7/15/2023: Zurich Lake Day

Today was another relaxing day and exactly what we needed. After some coffee and French toast over a few rounds of cards, James and I walked the few blocks from our place to the lake Zurich.

After getting distracted by a life sized game of chess in the park (James won), we laid our stuff down in the grass and enjoined the sunny, 90+ degree day in the cool of the shade. It’s so nice to have no agenda and nowhere to be! Shortly after, we jumped in the water (which was cold but SO refreshing), spent more time soaking up the day, and eventually walked the few blocks home for a card rematch and some homemade limoncello spritz.
