7/16/2023: Elephant Creek

Zurich, Switzerland

Today we woke up early to start our hike through the Steinerne Bogenbrücke Wehrhnbachtobel trail (as you can imagine, we are struggling with the German language). We’ve never seen so much green! The weather was perfect - just cold enough to keep us feeling good and enjoying the scenery. Also, how cute is the elephant rock/statue in the creek? After several miles and a picnic lunch by the creek, we packed up our things and hopped on the train to explore downtown Zurich. We were both pretty tired, but managed to scarf down another meal when we arrived and devour several scoops of the best non-dairy gelato we’ve had to date. All in all, it was a pretty great day.

We took the train back home and fell asleep after showers and a few more rounds of cards.
