7/22/2023: A Day in Como

Lake Como, Italy

Today we slept in, made a big breakfast, and spent the rest of the morning reading books by the water. By early afternoon, we were ready to make the trek to the city of Como. The four of us took the ferry to town and walked around enjoying the shops and city vibes.

Carmen and I grabbed some ingredients for dinner that night while the boys handled the alcohol situation (and oh man, did they manage the heck out that situation). We took the last ferry of the day back to our spot across the lake, before cooking dinner and whipping out the many drinks we’d have to finish before leaving in the morning.

After a rowdy game of kings cup, we said goodnight and farewell. We plan to meet up with Carmen in Munich when we’re there in a few weeks, but Brad is officially headed back to San Diego after his own Europe excursion.
