Our last full day in Rome was perfect. J spent the morning at the coffee shop reading up on his financial news while Savvy slept in a bit. Our main two attractions for the day were the Vatican and Trevi fountain.

The Vatican was so grandiose. The pillars and statues in St. Peter’s Square made it feel like we were back in Ancient Rome.

Trevi Fountain is about as romantic as it gets. Did you know it’s really not that old? It only has about a decade on the Declaration of Independence. Also, it makes about $1.7M/yr in coin donations.

We turned in early that night knowing that getting to Ischia was not going to be an easy feat.
