9/9/2023: What to do in Cannes?

We made it our mission to check out the town of Cannes. And honestly, there was not much to see. We walked down the beautiful beach front expecting so much from that little town and it didn’t deliver. There were a ton of restaurants and bars asking exorbitant amounts for their basic cuisine and we just couldn’t handle it. We finally ate at Five Pizza Original which is a Dominoes-like pizza place that would have been a miss if not for their amazing spicy sauce. It was sooo good! We topped off the entire pizza with and and took extra sauce packets with us for the rest of the trip.

After our fancy pizza-dinner we tried our luck again with clubbing. We glanced through the downtown area and settled on a neat spot to pregame. We asked our waitress where the fun spots are to go clubbing and she pointed right across the street! With an emphatic tone she said it opened at 12! It was probably 9:30 at the time. We laughed, paid the bill, and made our way home.
