England: Bath
Day 5! Our first (and only) day in Bath was a memorable one. We woke up at a reasonable hour (thank you, alarm) and enjoyed a hot breakfast at our B&B before heading to town. We walked the 1.5 miles to town square, stopping for coffee and some window shopping along the way. When we got to town, we contemplated paying the relatively hefty fee to see the Roman mineral baths. We opted instead to pay the quite reasonable fee to enjoy some man made mineral baths and couldn’t be happier with our decision. After a few hours enjoying the two mineral pools, essential oil saunas, an infrared room, an ice room, and a cafe with lunch and mimosas, J and I hesitantly decided it was time to see more of the town. We explored the beautiful streets, grabbed a bite to eat, and split a bottle of wine at a park before heading back to our room.
